Mark Jenkins

Mark Jenkins

Mark Jenkins is an American artist. He uses the streets as places for his works. He has my sculptures that can be found in the streets of places like Montreal in Canada, Cologne in Germany, and Rome. They can be found in multiple poses my personal favorite one being in Besancon which is a city in France and a sculpture person is hung on a clothesline with no head.
One really cool idea he seemed to have was to make a sculpture person made of garbage and photograph it in front of  a garbage truck and person collecting trash off the streets.
Another cool idea is him putting bodies and necks against flat surfaces and heads coming out on the other side which I really like.
Below are 5 photos of tape sculptures which are pretty fun to make.

The piece most people know is called Beowulf 3D and it was created using 3D Max, Vray and Zbrush. I even found his Facebook page haha. So he is known online pretty well and his works are so good and detailed and they make me think of video games since his sculptures or most of them are of characters like Batman or Superman. Below are 5 of his works:

Animal Difference

The two animals I think are visually different are wolves and sharks. In a 3D way, wolves and sharks are different. Some ways that wolves are visually interesting are because compared to sharks, they're a land animal and an aquatic animal. The tail of a shark and the ears of a wolf both are completely different and yet they both have the same appeal to me. Sculpturally wolf ears, shark tails and dorsal fins.
