Joseph Cornell

Joseph Cornell was an American artist and also a film maker. He worked with assemblage. He mainly worked using boxes for assemblage pieces and I realized he seems to go for a vintage look and also uses birds a lot. I really like the birds and in a few of his pieces he uses maps as a background. I really like his work and it reminds me of my family's house in main because there a lot of old things in the house and it just gives a calm feeling. When it comes to principles and elements of art, I definitely see texture, color, form, variety, and space. Again, I really enjoy the colors he mainly uses which seem to be gold, a dark blue, white, and brown. There are a variety of things he uses in these sculptures like the key, birds are a repeating thing I noticed, maps, and wood or having a texture that looks like wood.

So he is known online pretty well and his works are so good and detailed and they make me think of video games since his sculptures or most of them are of characters like Batman or Superman. Animal Difference

The two animals I think are visually different are wolves and sharks. In a 3D way, wolves and sharks are different. Some ways that wolves are visually interesting are because compared to sharks, they're a land animal and an aquatic animal. The tail of a shark and the ears of a wolf both are completely different and yet they both have the same appeal to me. Sculpturally wolf ears, shark tails and dorsal fins.
