So people find objects visually interesting, for me I think lights are visually interesting. I think they're just aesthetically pleasing to look at, and they're interesting because some have different shapes, obviously different colors, and they're useful to life I guess. They provide light, so you can see. I have lights in my room, and I don't mean light bulbs, I mean things like Christmas lights that you can just hang up for the hell of it.
They don't feel like anything explainable, they just give a warm sense to the room (at least certain colors like red do). Below are some photo examples:
